Women's bodies go through a cleansing transition monthly. It is highly recommended that the yoga practice be modified to encourage a relaxation and gentle masaging action on the reproductive organic body. Inversions, deep twists, and strong unsupported poses tend to tighten and reduce pranic flow to the region. Below is practice recommended for during the menstural flow period. This strengthens the reproductive capacity and reduces the discomforts that can come with the menstrual flow. Observe the timings as the body needs rest during this time.
